Houriet & Fils, Swiss, No. 18717, circa 1800. Very fine 18-carat gold fully skeletonized quarter repeating watch with automaton Jacks.

Double body massive "Directoire" case with reeded band and engine turned back. Gilt brass glazed cuvette. White enamel chapter ring with Breguet numerals, the skeletonized movement visible at the center with two automaton cupids applied over a blued steel background, striking the hours and quarters on two bells. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. Fine fully skeletonized gilt brass full plate move-ment, engraved overall, with a going barrel, a gold train of wheels, cylinder escapement with a plain gold three armed balance, a polished steel cock and a ruby endstone. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. In good condition. Diam 57 mm.
