Chased bezel set with alternate white and red stones, a fine enamelled portrait of a lady painted on the back and framed by a red translucent enamel over engine-turning, further white and red stones and a white dot enamelled decoration, the border of the back is pierced and engraved with a scroll and palm leaf decoration. Small off set white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and second rings. Gilt brass arrow and poker hands. Dial plate painted with a mountain landscape with an automaton water fall and several highland figures passing a bridge in an aperture below the dial. The small gilt brass pocket watch movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three armed steel balance and English cock is set within the large gilt brass full plate movement, the back plate engraved overall with foliage, with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, fly regulator and a pointed cylinder with twelve hammers striking on six bells.
