Lépine A Paris, Swiss, circa 1780. Good 18-carat three coloured gold and enamel diamond set quarter repeating watch.

Double body case, the chased bezel set with rose diamonds, a small oval enamel portrait of a lady painted on the middle of the back and framed with rose diamonds, a cast three coloured gold chased garland of flowers, and further rose diamond set decoration. Rose diamond inlaid white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Rose diamond set "Louis XV" hands. Gilt brass full plate repeating movement with conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with a plain brass three armed balance, a continental cock and a polished steel endpiece, repeating on a bell. In good condition. Diam.: 40 mm.
