Anonymous, Swiss, made for the Spanish or the South American market, circa 1900. 18-carat gold minute repeating moon phase astronomical watch with perpetual calendar and chronograph.

Four body massive "bassine" polished case. Gold cuvette. Silver dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with the leap year cycle, the dates and the running seconds with an inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel " cathédrales" hands. 19"' nickel plated move-ment, 31 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band, the chronograph with a visible work and a push piece on the band. In good condition. Diam.: 54 mm. Estimate: SFr. 20'000-25'000
