Dent, 32 cockspur St., Clockmaker to the Queen, London, No. 32102, bearing the London Hall Marks for 1900-1901. Extremely fine 18-carat gold hunting cased minute repeating moon phase astronomical watch with perpetual calendar and split second chronograph.

Four body massive "bassine et gouge" polished case. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial (Willis) with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and second ring, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with the leap year cycle, the dated and the seconds with the moon phase aperture. Blued steel "pear" hands. Fine 19' three quarter plate gilt brass movement (Nicole Nielsen, with a Victorin Elysée Piguet ebauche), 26 jewels in gold screwed settings, right angle lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, blued steel balance with a terminal curve, diamond endstone. Minute repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band, the chronograph with a visible work and the push piece on the band next to the split second one. In very good condition. Diam.: 56 mm.
