Marius Favre, Genève, No 1891, made for Arthur Daudens Fils ? Paris ? in 1891. Good 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased pocket chronometer with a chronograph, in its original Brazilian rosewood fitted case and with a certificate from the Geneva observatory for the First class contest organised in 1891.

Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case, an applied gold monogram on the cover. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. Very fine glazed nickel plated 19"' movement, "à vagues" decoration, 23 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance made by Paillard, adjusted by Marius Favre himself, palladium balance spring with a terminal curve and a swan neck micrometric index. The chronograph with a visible work, the push piece on the band. Signed on the dial, the cuvette and the movement. In very good condition. Diam.: 54 mm.
