Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1880. Fine and rare 18 ct. gold hunting cased keyless moon phase astronomical watch with a fly back perpetual calendar.
Four body massive "bassine et filets" engine turned case ( worn) with a reeded band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, apertures for the phases of the moon and the day of the week, a sector for the fly back calendar, subsidiary dials for the running seconds and the months ( small hair cracks). Gold "pear" hands. Nickel plated 20 '' movement "à vagues" decoration, 19 jewels, two gold screwed settings, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. In good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
