H.J.C. La Chaux de Fonds, Swiss, circa 1920. Very rare and important 18 ct. keyless minute repeating watch with a four hammer Westminster Carillon, Swiss patent No 11948.

Four body massive "demi-bassine et filets" polished case. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel pear hands. Gilt brass 20"' movement, 32 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement with a cut bimetallic balance and a Breguet balance spring. Repeating on four gongs with four hammers by means of a slide on the band. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam.: 54 mm.
