Longines Watch & Co Lindbergh, 1940's. Fine centre second hour angle silver and stainless steel staybrite gentleman's wristwatch, invented by Col. chas. A. Lindbergh V.S. Pat. No 1923305, with fitted case and leather strap.
C. massive, polished, steel dome, Revolving bezel with the enamelled 15 degrees graduation, graduated band. D. White enamel with the 12 hours indication, concentric, the 180 degrees,at the centre revolving mat silver dial bearing the 60 minutes and the 15 degrees. "Breguet" blued steel hands. M. 17"'gilt brass, 15 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
