Rare 18-carat gold and enamel half hunting case watch with the early Audemars Keyless winding device. Four body "demi-bassine et filet" polished case with reeded band, the back with the champlevé enamelled. Napoleon Ill initial below an Emperial Crown, champlevé enamelled Roman numerals on the cover around the circular aperture. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel hands. 15"' gilt brass movement, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, plain three armed brass balance. In good condition. Diam. 40 mm.
