Rich(ard) Wilson, London, circa 1760. 18-carat gold pair cased quarter repeating watch, with a leather protecting case.

Double body outer pierced case, repoussé with a mythological scene and further rocaille decoration, bassine inner case, pierced with scrolls and engraved with a mask. Gilt metal dust cap. Withe enamel dial with Roman numerals and concentric minute ring. Blued steel "pecker" and "beetle" hands. Full plate movement with baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, English cock. In good condition. Diam. 49 mm.
