Finely cast and chased bronze figure of winged Chronos with gilt bronze robes, supporting the clock above in a spherical bronze casing, gilt bronze snake-form bezel, rectangular rouge griotte marble base raised on a further gilt bronze base with stiff-leaf decoration, block feet. D. Gilt with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, engine-turned center. Steel Breguet hands. M. Circular brass with going barrels, anchor escapement, silk suspension, outside countwheel striking on a bell. Dial signed. Dim. 46 x 25 x 11 cm.
