The Horses Vulcain, Swiss, No. 54417. Made circa 1925. Very fine and rare, thin, silver and painted on enamel, half-open faced, keyless dress watch.
C. Three-body, coin-edged band, the back cover finely painted on enamel with a white and a black horse against an oyster-colored guilloche background, white enamel and polished border, the bezel decorated to match. D. Matte silver, black painted dauphine numerals, outer minute track. Gold Louis XV hands. M. 17???, rhodium-plated, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed. Diam. 49 mm.
