Notes

The A. Lange & Söhne "Double Split? is the world?s first fly-back chronograph wristwatch with split-seconds and split-minutes function: a movement assembled from 465 components allows 2 different events to be measured for up to 30 minutes, while a less extravagant split-seconds chronograph allows timing for 2 different events for up to 60 seconds only. It is the first A. Lange & Söhne wristwatch to be fitted with a free-sprung balance with eccentric poising weights and the balance spring itself is entirely produced by the company. The Glashütte firm?s achievement was recognized with the prestigious German ?Golden Balance 2005? award, marking the 8th time an A. Lange & Söhne wristwatch took top position, as well as a special prize in Geneva?s ?Grand Prix d?Horlogerie? the same year
