Notes

Designed like a marine chronometer, the ?Grosse Langematik Gangreserve? was created to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Wempe?s ?Chronometerwerke Hamburg?, one of the world?s leading manufactures of marine chronometers and precision instruments, established by 7 major ship owners in this northern German city on October 10, 1905. It is the only ?Langematik? with power reserve indication and limited to 100 pieces in 18K yellow gold, 100 pieces in platinum and 25 in 18K pink gold. For a note about Wempe, see lot 15.
