Octa Chronographe F.P. Journe, "Invenit et Fecit", "Octa Chronographe", No. 242-C. Made in 2007. Very fine and rare, self-winding, platinum chronometer wristwatch with round button fly-back chronograph, register, large date and a platinum F.P. Journe buckle. Accompanied by a certificate.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, concave lugs, transparent case back with 6 screws, sapphire crystals. D. Off-center subsidiary silver guilloche dials with painted radial Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes, seconds and 60-minute register secured to the 18K white gold plate by 6 screws, aperture for the double digit date. Blued steel Journe hands. M. Cal. 1300-2 in 18K pink gold, fausses cotes decoration, 32 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic 4-arm balance with 4 timing weights adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, off-center bi-directional 22K gold guilloche rotor. Dial, case and movement signed, movement also engraved "Exclusive Power Reserve System" and "Precision Chronometer". Diam. 40 mm. Thickness: 10 mm.
