Platinum, Pearls & Diamonds French, No. 5008. The case by Ferdinand Verger, made circa 1910. Fine, heavy, tonneau-shaped, platinum, rose-cut diamond and pearl-set Art Deco lady?s wristwatch.
C. Two-body, the bezel with a castellated design set with rose-cut diamonds, the lugs each set with a single pearl, back with two screws. D. Matte silver with Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel lozenge hands. M. 9???, rhodium plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Case punched with Ferdinand Verger?s pre-1911 mark. Dim. 23 x 25 mm. Thickness 6 mm.
