Double-Dialed Coach Watch William Pybus, London. Made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. Very fine and rare, two time zone, center-seconds, gilt brass and paste-set, double-dialed coach watch with calendar, moon?s age and stop-watch feature.

C. Two-body, ?consular?, glazed on both sides, engraved with flowers and leaves, the bezels set with alternate blue and red pastes, lever for the stopwatch feature in the edge of the dial plate. D. First: white enamel with small eccentric radial Roman chapter ring, outer dot minute indexes, subsidiary dials for the age of the moon, the date and the regulator index. Second: white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds divisions, Arabic five second numerals. Gold pear hands. M. Hinged gilt brass with cylindrical pillars, fusee wth chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance concealed beneth the dial, flat balance spring. Dial signed. Diam. 62 mm.
