Minute Repeater & Split-Seconds Chronograph ? Regulator Dial Swiss, No. 15029. Made for the American market, circa 1880. Very fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold, keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph and solid silver regulator dial.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, polished, bolt at 1 o?clock to lock the chronograph. Hinged gold-rimmed glazed cuvette to view the movement. D. Solid silver, regulator type, small dial at 12 with radial Roman numerals for the hours, outer minute track with red champlevé enamel five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6. Blued steel double spade hands. M. 43 mm., 19???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised straightline lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, visible chronograph work. Diam. 52 mm.
