Crystal Desk Clock Mappin & Webb, Paris-London, "8 Days", No. 3527. Made circa 1930. Very fine and rare, glass and enamel, 8-day going Royal presentation desk clock. Accompanied by the original morocco fitted case.

C. Shaped transparent glass, the center of the base mounted with a white enamel medallion with red enamel border and an applied brass-set crown, red enamel bezel with white enamel border. D. Mother of pearl with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Luminous blued steel skeleton hands. M. 8-day, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 146 x 110 mm.
