Elgin, No. 4033362, case No. 1952. Made circa 1885. Fine and interesting, keyless, 14K multi-colored gold and diamond pocket watch with ornamented hunting-case.
C. Four-body, bassine et filets, lavishly decorated with applied foliate motives and scroll pattern, engine-turned case band, front centered by monogram and case back by diamond, hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 6 size, frosted gilt, 3/4 plate, 5 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flat balance spring. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm.
