Two-Day Marine Chronometer Kirov, Moscow, No. 9390. Made circa 1964. Fine mahogany 56-hour marine chronometer with power reserve indication and ratchet key. Accompanied by the original carrying case.

C. Three-tier, with brass handles, the glazed middle section with hinged lid. Brass bowl and gimbaled suspension. D. Silvered with upright Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the seconds and power reserve indication. Gold spade hands. M. Cal. 83 mm, gilt brass, full plate with baluster pillars secured by screws, 20 jewels, fusée with chain and Harrison's maintaining power, Earnshaw's spring detent escapement, free-sprung 2-arm bimetallic compensation balance with cylindrical weights and 2 meantime adjusting nuts, polished steel helical balance spring, diamond endstone. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 19 x 19 cm. Bowl 11 cm.
