Two-body, Louis XVI, paste-set bezel, the back set with a finely painted on enamel oval panel depicting a young couple before an altar in a classical landscape, paste set border and matted gold outer border decorated with raised flowers and enameled leaves. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions, outermost Arabic five-minute numerals, winding aperture at 2 o?clock. Paste-set pierced hands. M. Full plate, gilt, hinged to the case, cylindrical pillars, verge escapement, threearm balance, continental type balance cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 41 mm.
