Belle Epoque Genève, case No. 6105 by Ferdinand Verger. Made circa 1905. Extremely fine, rare and elegant, platinum, rose-cut diamond and pearl-set keyless lady?s pendant watch with hand-painted panels and a platinum and diamond-set chain.
C. Three-body, pentagonal, the bezels set with rose-cut diamonds, the glazed back cover decorated with a painted scene of a lady with cherubs and flower garlands, the whole mounted within a pearl border suspended from pearl strands, platinum and rose-cut diamondset suspension loop and tassel. Chain composed of elongated and lozenge-shaped links set with round diamonds. D. Painted en suite to the case and decorated with three cherubs, painted white Arabic numerals. Black Breguet hands. M. Rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 23 x 21 mm. overall.
