Montre a Reveil Bodin a Angers. Made circa 1750. Fine and rare, gilt metal pocket watch with alarm.

C. Two-body, ?Louis XV?, the bezel chased with scrolls, the back with polished center, shell and scroll border, pierced sound holes. D.White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals, apertures for the winding of the going and alarm trains and for setting the alarm hand with female arbor. Gilt metal Louis XV hour and minute hands, steel alarm hand. M. 36 mm., matte gilt full plate, pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial, alarm train with engraved fixed barrel, steel train, sounding on a bell in the back of the case. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
