Quarter-Repeating Louis Audemars, No. 11889, retailed by Le Roy & Fils, H.gers de la Marine, Palais Royal, 13 & 15, Gal.ie Montpensier, Paris, No. 51594. Made in 1872. Very fine, 18K rose gold, quarter-repeating, hunting cased pocket watch. Accompanied by a fitted box To be sold without reserve
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets",mastermarkMF, polished, front cover engraved with amonogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial narrow Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. M. 18???, frosted gilt, 23 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold meantime and temperature adjustment screws, blued-steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case with Louis Audemar?s trademark, cuvette signed by the retailer, case numbered and movement numbered on the dial plate. Diam. 52 mm
