Large Wheel Cutting Engine F.J., Swiss or French, No. 676. Made in the 19th century. Very fine and very large, brass and steel wheel cutting engine on a wooden base.
Driven by a steel crank handle via a large brass wheel, horizontal brass dividing plate set with approximately 27 staggered rows of divisions, pivoted locking arm with a thumb loop, depth adjusting nut and large tightening nut, cutting arm with large hand lever and frame holding the cutting tool with angle adjustment, depth feeding slide with crank handle, raised on curved legs. Dim. 57 x 34 cm. In good condition
