Eight Days Swiss, No. 1464. Made circa 1850. Fine and very rare, 18K gold, eight day-going pocket watch with two barrels.
C. Four-body, engine-turned back engraved with flowers, chased flower border and bezel, reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned decoration. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 18 ½???, frosted gilt, bar caliber with two going barrels, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 47 mm.
