Cloisonne Dial Arabia Universal Genève, case No. 1629397, Ref 0233-1. Made in 1953 in a limited numbers. Fine and rare, center-seconds, water-resistant, 18K pink gold and cloisonné enamel wristwatch, to commemorate the founding of Saudi Arabia by King Abdul al-Aziz III Ibn Saud (1880-1953).

C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, angled lugs. D. Polychrome cloisonné enamel representing the Arabian Peninsula, the palm tree and crossed swords and a mosque probably representing Medina, surrounded by a pink gold plain reserve with dedication in Arabic characters and Islamic numerals. Pink gold dauphine hands. M. Cal. 138 SS, rhodiumplated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shockabsorber, self-compensating flat balancespring, buffered rotor. Case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
