Répétition Minutes & Chronograph Girard-Perregaux, Chaux-de-Fonds, ?Répétition a Minutes Chronographe?, No. 299127. Made circa 1910. Fine, large, minute-repeating, hunting-cased, keyless 18K gold pocket watch with chronograph.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, button at 12 for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold spade hands. M. Cal. 20???, rhodiumplated, 36 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 58 mm.
