Minute Repeater & Split Seconds Chronograph Swiss,No. 2076, retailed by Brillmann & Co., London. Made circa 1880. Very fine and rare, large, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold, hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph.

C. Four-body, ?bassine et filet?, polished, heavy. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. D. White enamel, threepiece, with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track and seconds divisions, red painted Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 43 mm., 19???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, visible chronograph mechanism. Cuvette signed by Brillmann & Co., London. Diam. 56 mm.
