One-Minute Tourbillon Thomas Engel, No. IV, the carriage by Richard Daners, regulated by J.P. Vuille, Le Locle.Made circa 1980. Exceptionally fine and very rare, 18K gold, keyless pocket chronometer with one-minute tourbillon regulator with power reserve. Accompanied by an original fitted box.

C. Four-body, "forme collier", screw-down engine turned back, engine turned band, gold glazed cuvette, ballshaped, swiveling pendant acting as the winding crown. D. Silver, champlevé Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, engine turned center, eccentric subsidiary seconds between 6 and 7 o'clock, power-reserve aperture below 12 o'clock, inset gold plaque engraved ?Tourbillon?. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 50 mm, 22???, half-plate, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, three-arm Y-shaped polished steel carriage with lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with free-sprung special nonmagnetic Nivarox prima balance spring with Phillips terminal curves with two pins for adjustment between horizontal and vertical positions, entire train jeweled, polished steel skeleton bridge. Dial and movement and case signed. Diam. 56.5 mm.
