C. four-body, Empire, enamel case back with floral motif on a translucent blue background over engine-turning, the bezels set with double rows of half pearls, reeded band, hinged, gold cuvette, gold push-button on the band at 11 o'clock to open the back cover, bolt at 5 o'clock to activate the music, a lever for music/silent protruding from under the cuvette at 9 o'clock. D. matte gold, polished reserve with radical Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, "guilloché" center. Blued steel "Bregue" hands. M. 33.3 mm., cylinder escapement, gold balance, flat balance spring, balance and escape wheel jeweled, repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant, disc-type musical train with fixed barrel, 17 tuned teeth alternating on both sides of the pin disc, striking on the hour or on demand.Signed on the cuvette.Diam. 42 mm.

It is rare to find such a small "sur plateau" musical watch, especially with a repeater. The double row of pearls and the gold cuvette suggest that it was made for an important client.
