Unsigned, probably Swiss. Produced circa 1880.Very fine, 18K gold hunting-cased, keyless, three-hammer minute repeating watch.

C. four-body, "bassine", polished, hinged gold cuvette. D. white enamel with Roman chapters, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic numerals, sunk auxiliary dial for the seconds. Gold "Spade" hands. M. 45 mm., gilt, 30 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, repeating on Cuvette signed "Maurice Fontaine, La Madeleine," case stamped with French import marks.Diam. 54 mm.
