C. four-body, "deux filets" type, "guilloché" covers, front with monogram cartouche, hinged gold cuvette and gold glazed bezel below. D. white enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, sunk auxiliary dial for the seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 44.8 mm. (20''') nickel with three parallel gold bridges, straight line reversed counterpoised equidistant lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, lever-set.Dial, case and movement signed, movement inscribed Patented Mar 25, 1884.Diam. 57 mm.
