Tiffany & Co, no. 78236, made in Switzerland. Produced circa 1890.Very fine, 18K gold, minute repeating watch with split-second chronograph and 60-minute register.

C. four-body, "bassine", polished with a small monogram on the back, hinged gold cuvette, milled groove for the slide in the band. D. white enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute and seconds divisions with red Arabic five-minute/seconds numerals, sunk auxiliary dial for the seconds, minute register at 12 o'clock. Blued steel "Spade" hands. M. 40.6 mm., nickel, half-plate caliber, 32 jewels, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel, Breguet baance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 52 mm.

The engraving on the cock "Patent Feb 5, 67" refers to American patent No. 61867, granted to George P. Reed, of Boston, Massachusetts, employee of Waltham Watch Company for "the Regulator for a balance by a screw and a spring", which today we call "swan-neck" micrometric regulator.
