Notes

This clock is of small size and the case is made by one of the great French cabinet makers of the 18th century, Balthazar Lieutaud, who made cases for Ferdinand Bethoud. The wheelwork is of the highest quality with each wheel kept as thin as possible so as to reduce the friction in the train and escapement to a minimum.
