Anchor Chronometer A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte-Sa, Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation, movement and case No. 69309. Made circa 1915. Very fine and rare, hunting-cased, keyless, 14K rose gold, pocket lever chronometer with Lange Guillaume balance and a long 14K rose gold finelink chain. Accompanied by a Lange fitted box and original certificate.
C. Four-body, "Lucia", solid, entirely decorated with a honeycomb pattern, the interior of the front cover with engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, three-piece with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XV hands. M. 18''', Glashütte 3/4-plate, frosted gilt, 16 jewels, straight-line Glashütte lever escapement, gold pallet fork, banking with single pin in a pinhole, gold escape wheel, Lange Guillaume balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 52.5 mm.
