The Knights Swiss, Genève or La Chaux-de-Fonds, case No. 182556. Made circa 1900. Very fine, 14K rose gold, quarter-repeating keyless huntingcased pocket watch with automaton jacks.

C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, engine-turned, the front cover with a vacant cartouche. Hinged gold cuvette and gold-rimmed glazed cover over the movement. D. Guilloche rose pink enamel with gilt Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, brushed blued steel outer border applied with two gilt knight jacks appearing to strike bells when the repeating is activated. Blued steel feuille hands. M. 20???, frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight- line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band, centrifugal governor. Diam. 56 mm.
