Gold Pair-Cased And(rew) Dunlop, London, No. 1586. The inner case with London hallmarks for 1723-4. Very fine and rare, 20K gold, pair-cased pocket watch.

Gold champleve, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost Arabic five-minute numerals, the center with signature cartouches. Blued steel beetle and poker hands. M. 36 mm., gilt full plate, square baluster pillars, fusee and chain with worm and wheel setup, verge escapement, threearm steel balance, flat balance spring, silver regulation dial with serpent pointer, pierced and engraved balance cock with single foot and streamers. Dial and movement signed, both cases numbered 1586 and with mastermark IW. Diam. 49 mm with outer case.
