C. Multi-piece, "anglaise", the sides and top glazed, Corinthian columns at each corner, bead and reel friezes, moulded base, hinged fluted handle. D. Circular white enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, white enamel alarm setting dial with Arabic numerals, matte gilt mask. Blued steel Spade hands. M. Rectangular brass plates, going barrels for the going and striking trains, further barrel for the alarm train, lateral lever escapement on a matte gilt platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flat balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating on a gong. Dial signed. Dim. 13 x 8.3 x 9 cm. excluding handle.
