C. Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, straight curled lugs, on the case back an engraved astrolabe. D. Lacquered blue background at the centre, the Continents of Europe and America depicted in gold and connected with a golden line symbolizing the first voyage of Christopher Colombus, surrounding the map, two revolving matte silver ring dials that are controlled by the second crown; one with the 24 nocturnal and diurnal hours, the other one bearing the names of 30 cities around the world. Yellow gold dauphine hands. M. Cal. 1873, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial and case signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 7 mm.
