Art Deco Clock Gübelin, Lucerne, No. 23797. Made circa 1930. Very fine and rare, Art Deco, quartz and jasper, 8-day going desk clock. To be sold without reserve
C. Rectangular white striated quartz with stepped curved corners, the sides set with rectangular jasper panels, stained bone fluted finial, moulded shaped base, chromed stepped bezel, the movement housed in a chromed drum case. D. Lilac enamel with metallic cubiste Arabic numerals, inner minute track. Chromed scimitar hands. M. 19???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with three adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, movement and case signed. Dim. 17.5 x 13.2 x 5.7 mm.
