Hour & Half-Hour Striking Clockwatch Swiss, ?Sonnerie en Passant et a Volonte?, No. 81329. Made circa 1860. Fine and rare, silver and gold, two-train, hour repeating, hour and half-hour striking clockwatch.
C. Four body "bassine et filets", polished, gold hinges. Hinged cuvette with engine-turned border and engraved with the technical details. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel spade hands. M. Frosted giIt brass, three-quarter plate, double train with going barrels, each barrel with a detachable foliate engraved plate, 16 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gold balance, flat balance spring, index regulator, striking hours and half-hours, repeating hours on gongs activated by a button on the pendant. Case and cuvette numbered. Diam. 55 mm.
