Notes

The 7-day power-reserve is provided by four mainspring barrels working in parallel, the pair on the left is wound by the rotor, the pair on the right by the winding crown and power is distributed equally ? a world first. Using parallel barrels enables the reduction in torque of each mainspring, increasing isochronism and reducing wear.
MB&F Was founded by Maximillian Busser in 2005 to bring together the most talented independent watchmakers to push the boundaries of watchmaking, producing pieces that might be described as art and sculpture as well as being triumphs of micro-engineering. The aim of the collective ? all friends ? is to craft a radical horological masterpiece each year. The HM 1 is the first of these pieces. Each watch model made by the MB&F brand has been designed by a different team of horological experts and ?friends?. The HM1 model was designed by Maximillian Busser and Eric Giroud, while the movement was conceived by Peter Speake-Marin and Laurent Besse.
