The Springer Spaniel Tavannes Watch Co., Swiss, No. 3309326. Made circa 1925. Very fine and rare, thin, 14K gold and painted on enamel, hunting-cased keyless dress watch.

Four-body, coin-edged band, the hinged and sprung front cover finely painted on enamel with a portrait of a springer spaniel dog against a translucent aquamarine guilloché enamel background, white enamel and polished border, the back cover decorated to match. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Matte silver, black painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track, frosted gilt center, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 13???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 49 mm.
