Trip Minute-Repeating, ?Charles L. Paar? Dial Tiffany & Co., movement and case No. 78091, attributed to H.R. Ekegrén. Made circa 1900. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, trip minute-repeating, two-train keyless pocket watch.
C. Four body, "demi-bassine", polished, the back cover with an engraved monogram. Gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel with letter numerals spelling the name ?Charles L. Paar?, outer minute track with red painted ten-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Black steel spade hands. M. 38 mm., 17???, nickelplated, two-train with tandem winding, 35 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs with independent train released by depressing the button on winding crown. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 49 mm.
