Two-body, rectangular, engine-turned base with stylised leaf border, engine-turned bowed sides with varicolored gold flowers at each corner, hinged lid with a central oval cartouche of two opposing hippocampi beneath a flower vase, engineturned ground, outer stylised floral and foliate border. Punched with goldsmith?s mark CMW. Dim. 86 x 59 x 17 mm. From the Collection of an Italian Gentleman
