Minute-Repeater & Chronograph Longines, Swiss, ?Repeticion?, case No. 1771833. Made for the Hispanic market, circa 1910. Very fine, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with chronograph.
C. Four-body, bassine, polished, the front cover with engraved foliate monogram. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with medals awarded at various exhibitions. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second divisions, red five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Gilt spade hands. M. 20???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes and oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 31 jewels, straightline lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 54 mm.
