Officier Style L. Leroy & Cie., a Paris, 7, Boul(evar)d de la Madeleine, No. 0419. Made circa 1900. Very fine, eight day going, hour and half-hour striking, carriage clock designed in the manner of an early 19th century Pendule d'Officier with the original gold-tooled morocco travelling case.

C. Gilt bronze inlaid with green-stained panels and brass stringing, ?Pendule d'Officier? with turned feet, hinged snake handle, acorn and oak-leaf mounts, beaded bezel, hinged back door. D. Convex, white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer black dot minute divisions, gilt dot five-minute divisions, outermost Arabic five-minute numerals. Gilt brass pierced hands. M. 78 mm., circular brass, with going barrels for both trains, platform lateral lever escapement with cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking the hours and half-hours on a coiled gong. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 21.5 x 13.5 x 10 mm.
